How do I create my first QR code?

After signing up, go to your dashboard and click "Create QR Code". Select your QR type, enter your content, customize the design, and click generate. You can then download your QR code in various formats.

What types of QR codes can I create?

You can create QR codes for URLs, vCards (contact information), WiFi networks, emails, SMS messages, phone numbers, locations, and text. Each type has specific fields to fill out.

Is there a free plan available?

Yes! Our free plan allows you to create up to 5 static QR codes per month with basic customization options. Perfect for trying out the platform.

QR Code Features

What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?

Static QR codes contain fixed information that cannot be changed after creation. Dynamic QR codes (available on Pro plan and above) allow you to update the destination URL or content even after the code is printed or distributed.

Can I customize the design of my QR codes?

Yes! You can customize colors, add your logo (Pro plan and above), change the pattern style, and adjust the error correction level. All plans include basic color customization.

What file formats can I download?

QR codes can be downloaded in PNG, SVG, and PDF formats. SVG is recommended for print materials as it scales without quality loss. PNG is perfect for digital use.

Analytics & Tracking

How do I track QR code scans?

Scan tracking is available on the Pro plan and above. Once enabled, you can view detailed analytics including scan count, timestamps, locations, and device information in your dashboard.

What analytics data do you collect?

We collect scan timestamps, general location (city/country level), device type, operating system, and browser information. We respect user privacy and do not collect personally identifiable information.

Can I export my analytics data?

Yes, on the Advanced and Team plans, you can export your analytics data as CSV or Excel files for further analysis or reporting.

Plans & Billing

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, you pay the prorated difference. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal. Team plans also support invoicing for annual subscriptions.

Is there a refund policy?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us for a full refund, no questions asked.

What happens to my QR codes if I cancel?

Your QR codes remain active even after cancellation. However, you lose access to analytics, dynamic URL updates, and the ability to create new codes. Existing codes continue to work.

Technical

What is the maximum scan distance for QR codes?

The scan distance depends on the QR code size and camera quality. Generally, the formula is: Scan Distance = QR Code Size × 10. For example, a 2-inch QR code can be scanned from about 20 inches away.

What error correction level should I use?

We recommend Medium (15%) for most use cases. Use High (30%) if your QR code will be placed in areas where it might get damaged or dirty. Higher error correction makes the QR code slightly more complex.

Do QR codes expire?

Static QR codes never expire and will work indefinitely. Dynamic QR codes remain active as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, dynamic codes continue to redirect but cannot be edited.

Can I use QR codes commercially?

Yes! All QR codes you create are yours to use commercially without any restrictions. You own the rights to your QR codes and can use them in any way you see fit.

Security & Privacy

Is my data secure?

Yes, we take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We undergo regular security audits and are compliant with GDPR and CCPA regulations.

Do you share my data with third parties?

No, we never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only use trusted service providers for infrastructure (AWS) and payment processing (Stripe), both of which are GDPR compliant.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes, you can delete your account at any time from your settings. This will permanently delete your account information, QR codes, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
